Florent Marcellesi is the cochair of Verdes Equo, the Spanish Greens, and a former MEP (Greens/EFA). As civil engineer and urban planner, he is a specialist in transition process from unsustainable economy towards green economy.

He is the author among other books of «Transition towards an ecological economy. Why? What for? How?» or «Goodbye, growth. Living well in a world of solidarity and sustainability» and he adapted to Spanish the book of the New Economics Foundation «21 hours: Why a Shorter Working Week Can Help Us All to Flourish in the 21st Century».
