Joan Sanchis holds a degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Economic Policy and Public Economics. With an academic and professional career essentially linked to the field of public policy, labour and economic geography, he has participated in the design of public policy programmes aimed at encouraging the reduction of working hours in the Valencian Country and in Spain. He is currently Associate Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Valencia and works as an advisor to the Vice-ministry of Employment at the Generalitat Valenciana. He has recently published the book “Quatre Dies” (Four Days) with the publishing house “Sembra Llibres”.
