He is a Civil Industrial Engineer. He has a MSc in Administration and a PhD in Engineering Systems. He served as the Secretary of the International Association for Time Use Research (IATUR), in addition to being its representative in Latin America and the Caribbean. His line of research is the use of time, value of time and time poverty, complemented by studies on pluralistic economics. Along with this, he has an active participation in gender and LGBTQIA+ research, where he studies the differences in time distribution between genders, time poverty and well-being.
