Katrin Langensiepen was elected in the European Parliament in 2019. As the only woman with a visible disability in the Parliament and Vice-Chair of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs, she fights for a social and inclusive Europe. In her function as Vice-Chair of the Disability Intergroup in the European Parliament and as representative in CRDPD Framework she pursues the implementation of the UN-Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) in all EU policies. Other topics she is currently working on are the Social Climate Fund and Social Economy.
